Weekly Pinterest Round-Up
Alright so I'm a little late on this one...but better late than never!
Today we're going to look at some pins from my "One Day I'll Get Organized" and "A Clean Home is a Happy Home" boards on Pinterest. It's almost Spring Cleaning time, so I feel like it's a good time to revisit some of these ideas.
First up, this is a great idea for organizing all of those important papers! They are easy to access and much more attractive than a hanging file box.

Along those same lines, here is an idea for a binder for all of those personal documents...one binder for each member of the family.

Next up, a simple idea to store all of those grocery bags that you use for small garbage cans around the house. Put one under the sink in each bathroom for easy access each garbage day! These are made from old coffee cans...now, I just need to start drinking coffee...

Okay this next idea for storing wrapping paper is just about genius...why not put it in the top of your closet? It's easily accessible but doesn't take up any valuable real estate...I mean, who really uses the ceiling of the closet anyway?

Now we will delve into some cleaning ideas. Does anyone else have trouble with a gunky iron? Well, here is your solution! With the iron on a low setting, rub a fresh dryer sheet over the surface of the iron plate until the residue disappears. I have yet to try this, so I cannot testify to how it works, but I will try it in the near future.

This next idea is genius for pet owners. Use a dryer sheet to dust your baseboards! Not only does it get the pet hair and dust, it also coats it with a layer of anti-static to repel future build-up!

And finally, here is a way to get rid of that black "gunk" build-up in your sink. (We have this problem in our kitchen sink, especially with the garbage disposal). First, start a pot of boiling water. While that is boiling, pour baking soda down the drain. Once the water has reached a rolling boil, pour it down the drain. Let them sit for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, pour 1 cup of bleach down the drain to completely kill any remaining bacteria or mildew. Repeat this process every few months.
