To-Do List Revisited

Updated Master To-Do list, now including the basement!

Basement Family Room
1. Tear out old carpet and padding
2. Paint walls
3. Paint doors and trim
4. Lay ceramic tile floor - two/thirds done with this!
5. Build built-in desk - the base cabinets are ready to be installed!
6. Build and stain countertop for desk
7. Install baseboards, and paint them
8. Build shelves above desk
9. Build storage cubes/cubbies under stairs
10. Mount TV on wall between windows
11. Hire electrician to fix outlet below the TV so it's not controlled by the light switch
12. Install ceiling lighting...recessed pot lights?
13. Finally hang the artwork that I've been collecting for the last year or so :)
14. Replace 2nd window (one window was replaced by previous homeowners)
15. Sew and hang new curtains

Basement Bedroom
1. Re-carpet floor
2. Remove wallpaper
3. Paint walls
4. Paint trim
5. Install better shelves in closet
6. Sew duvet cover for bed
7. Build a headboard

Living Room
1. Install trim around window
2. Install crown molding
3. Fill nail holes
4. Paint trim
5. Hang curtains
6. Finish spray-painting fireplace doors and re-install
7. Figure out what to do around the fireplace (tile? mantle surround?) and then do it
8. Fix door handle on closet
9. Figure out something to do about brick hearth (paint? resurface?)
10. Replace back entry door (preferably something with built-in blinds)
11. Research and buy/build some sort of storage system for closet
12. Organized DVD's and CD's in closet

Master Bathroom
1. Sand walls and re-paint for a smooth finish
2. Install shower head and faucet
3. Seal grout in the shower
4. Install hardware (towel bars, toilet paper dispenser, etc)
5. Figure out and install some storage
6. Re-paint and hang door
7. Chair rail
8. Fill nail holes
9. Paint trim

Master Bedroom
1. Install last piece of crown molding
2. Replace window apron - after we get new windows
3. Fill nail holes
4. Paint trim
5. Hang curtains
6. Install lighting in the closet
7. Fix bedroom door so it opens/closes quietly
8. Purchase and hang beautiful artwork or mirrors
9. Re-finish furniture and replace hardware
10. Buy a new area rug

Guest Room/Craft Room/Office
1. Touch-up paint
2. Install last piece of baseboard
3. Replace window apron - after new windows
4. Fill nail holes
5. Paint trim
6. Hang curtains
7. Install closet rods and shelves
8. Hang closet doors

Dining Room
1. Install beadboard and chair rail
2. Crown molding and baseboards
3. Replace window apron - after new windows
4. Fill nail holes
5. Paint trim
6. Find and install a pretty chandelier

Hallway
1. Fill nail holes
2. Paint trim
3. Replace or paint return air vent cover
4. Replace light fixture
5. Buy floor runners

Entry Way
1. Finish installing trim
2. Touch-up paint around door
3. Crown molding
4. Install picture ledge
5. Fill nail holes
6. Paint trim
7. Find and install a pretty light fixture
8. Install a new entry door (preferably something with windows)

Everywhere upstairs:
1. Fill nail holes in hardwood floor - I've done this everywhere except under furniture
2. Transitions wherever hardwood meets ceramic tile
